今回はNHKの翻訳担当の方もあまり意識的に入れ込まなかったようです。
よく考えたら，つい2日前の番組終了アイキャッチも子どもゾウの話を扱っていました（といっても水遊びにはしゃぐ姿がなんともかわいいというものでしたけど）。中高生向けの番組ですし，ニュースの印象の残りやすさを意識して，対比的に扱っているというのも考えられそうです。
